Stainless Steel Guitar Frets – Pack of 24
Pack of 24 pre-cut, pre-radiused stainless steel guitar frets, available in Narrow and Medium Jumbo profiles.
Stainless steel guitar frets – Narrow and Medium Jumbo
Stainless steel guitar frets offer a durable, high-performance solution for building, restoring or refretting electric and acoustic guitars.
Thanks to their stainless steel composition, they offer greater wear resistance than traditional nickel-silver frets. They help maintain an even contact surface with the strings for longer, reducing how often fret leveling and replacement are needed.
Supplied in a pack of 24 frets, they are available in two profiles to suit different playing preferences and luthiers' requirements.
Two available profiles
Narrow – Slim profile
The Narrow profile has a 2.0 mm crown width. It is suited to guitarists and luthiers looking for a thinner fret, with a smaller contact surface and a different playing feel from wider profiles.
Medium Jumbo – Intermediate profile
With a 2.3 mm crown width, the Medium Jumbo profile provides a slightly wider contact surface. It offers a useful balance between a slim profile, playing comfort and wear resistance.

Precut and pre-bent frets
Each fret comes in a 70 mm length and is pre-bent to a 12-inch radius, making preparation and installation easier.
The pre-bend can be adjusted to suit the fingerboard radius and the fretting method used.
The pack of 24 pieces can equip many guitar necks, provided you check the required fret count and fingerboard width.
Benefits of stainless steel
- High wear resistance: generally longer service life than nickel-silver frets.
- Good corrosion resistance: suitable for long-term use.
- Playing precision: a durable surface that helps retain a consistent crown profile for longer.
- Choice of two profiles: Narrow or Medium Jumbo, according to the player's preference.
- Ready for preparation and installation: already cut and bent to make the luthier's work easier.
Important: stainless steel is harder than nickel-silver, so cutting, leveling and polishing may require suitable tools. Also check that the fret tang is compatible with your fingerboard slots before installation.
