This LP guitar template is a practical tool for your guitar-building projects. A central reference line is engraved to make it easier to align your LP guitar template on the wood blank. This reference helps achieve accurate centring and avoid errors when routing the guitar body.
This LP-style guitar template is offered in three complementary versions.
Secure the LP guitar template using double-sided tape or sturdy clamps. For machining, a router fitted with a bearing-guided pattern bit is strongly recommended. It is better to work in several passes rather than removing all the material at once. This produces clean contours while preserving the template's service life.
A 10 or 12 mm straight router bit is ideal for routing. As MDF is sensitive to moisture, handle it carefully and store it in a dry place. Wall-mounted storage or a protective sleeve will help preserve its accuracy for longer.
