Delrin POM Guitar Nut – 43 mm
CNC-machined 43 mm Delrin POM guitar nut, available flat or with 9.5-inch and 12-inch radii.
The POM Delrin guitar nut is designed for building and repairing electric guitars. It is machined in our workshop from technical-grade Delrin (acetal POM) sheet.
This Delrin guitar nut is made from a uniform, stable material that allows accurate machining. Delrin has naturally low friction and excellent wear resistance.
Each 43 mm guitar nut is machined to the standard 43 × 9 mm format, suitable for most six-string electric guitars.
The POM Delrin guitar nut is available with different preparations to suit workshop requirements:
- Delrin guitar nut: flat surface, ready for custom fitting
- 9.5″ radius guitar nut: suited to modern Fender-style fingerboards
- 12″ radius guitar nut: compatible with Gibson®, PRS® and current standards
Each Delrin guitar nut is deliberately supplied without string slots. The slots must be cut to suit the string gauge and the instrument.
Two thicknesses are available:
- 3 mm: fine adjustment and replacement close to the original specification
- 5 mm: more material for fitting and maximum versatility
The Delrin guitar nut is a dependable alternative to bone or moulded plastic. It combines machining accuracy, durability and ease of working.
Machined in small batches, with an individual visual inspection.
