Plastic Guitar Side Dot Rods

Plastic guitar side dots are discreet but essential accessories for any instrument. They help players quickly identify positions along the neck and make the fingerboard easier to read. Made from quality rigid plastic, they provide a clean, crisp appearance after insertion and polishing.

Each rod is 100 mm long and 2 mm in diameter. This format makes it easy to create a complete set of position markers for an entire guitar, or even several instruments. The rods come in two colours: black for light-coloured fingerboards such as maple or light rosewood, and white for darker woods such as ebony, providing excellent contrast.

These plastic guitar side dots are designed for accurate insertion into the edges of a fingerboard. Once fitted, light, level sanding produces a perfectly flush finish. For an even more attractive result, fine-grit wet sanding followed by a quick polish turns each dot into a neat visual detail that adds character to your neck.

With these rods, you can easily install fingerboard position markers on any guitar. They are ideal for luthiers, DIY enthusiasts and musicians looking to refurbish their instruments. Their ease of installation and material quality make them a practical, durable component.

Plastic guitar side dots improve ergonomics as well as the appearance of your instrument. This subtle detail makes a difference when playing, especially for musicians who move quickly along the neck.
