Telecaster-Style Walnut-Look Pickguard – 8 Hole
Glossy walnut-look Telecaster-style pickguard, CNC machined with eight mounting holes and contrasting bevelled edges.
The walnut-effect Telecaster pickguard is designed for guitarists and luthiers who want an elegant wood appearance without using solid wood. This wood-effect pickguard is CNC-machined from a decorative synthetic sheet that reproduces the look of walnut burl, also known as burr walnut. Its dense, irregular grain gives a warm, refined appearance.
This walnut-effect Telecaster pickguard is compatible with Telecaster guitars built to American and Mexican standards. It comes in a standard configuration with 8 mounting holes, for a right-handed guitar, and with cutouts for Telecaster pickups. CNC machining produces consistent outlines and clean holes, ensuring repeatability and reliable fitting.
Its 2 mm thickness provides a good balance of rigidity and low weight. The glossy finish highlights the walnut-effect pattern and enhances its visual depth. The machined bevels reveal a light-colored edge. This contrast gives the wood-effect pickguard a more refined appearance and recalls traditional multi-ply pickguards.
This pickguard is offered in one fixed configuration, without variants, to maintain consistent quality from one piece to the next. Production is in limited quantities, making this walnut-effect Telecaster pickguard suitable for customization and cosmetic restoration projects.
A wood-effect pickguard is an interesting alternative to conventional plain-colored plastic pickguards. It provides a realistic wood appearance while retaining the dimensional stability of a synthetic material. This type of material is appreciated for its durability and ease of machining.
This walnut-effect Telecaster pickguard works naturally with modern guitars or updated vintage-inspired instruments. It can be paired with other custom parts from the shop's pickguard category.
