Curved Wooden Humbucker Pickup Ring

This curved wooden humbucker pickup ring is designed for guitars fitted with humbucker pickups and a carved or arched top, such as Les Paul-style guitars and similar instruments.

Made from solid wood with a thickness of 7 mm, each ring is precision CNC-machined to achieve a neat, consistent finish suited to standard humbucker dimensions.

Three wood species are available:

• maple for its light, natural appearance,
• rosewood for its warm look,
• ebony for its deep, premium appearance.

The external dimensions are 88.5 × 44.5 mm, with an internal opening of 71 × 38.8 mm, compatible with most standard humbuckers.

Each curved wooden humbucker ring has a shaped base with a 20-inch radius, allowing it to sit against carved guitar tops. This deliberately gentle curvature also makes adjustment easier to accommodate variations between instruments.

Custom radii can be produced on request for a more tailored fit to particular lutherie projects or guitar models.

The edges are lightly sanded with 100-grit abrasive to leave a raw surface ready for a wide range of finishes.

These include oils, waxes, varnishes, stains and other custom finishes.

Solid wood offers a more refined and warmer alternative to traditional plastic pickup rings. This type of part creates a more coherent appearance on custom instruments while retaining an authentic handcrafted character.

The mounting holes are countersunk to accommodate standard screws. Mounting screws are not included.
