Gotoh SG381 MG-T Locking Guitar Tuners – Chrome

Gotoh SG381 MG-T locking tuners are designed for guitarists seeking excellent tuning stability and high-quality construction suitable for modern or vintage electric instruments.

This set of six Gotoh locking tuners in a 6L configuration is ideal for guitars with an inline headstock, such as Stratocaster-style models and similar instruments. Thanks to the MG-T system developed by Gotoh, each string is quickly locked using a thumbwheel on the back of the tuner. This system improves tuning stability while making string changes considerably easier.

Gotoh locking tuners feature a 1:15 gear ratio for smooth, precise adjustment. Their comfortable operation and solid mechanical feel are appreciated both in the workshop and in everyday use.

The SG381-07 MG-T model retains an elegant vintage style thanks to its metal Butterbean buttons and semi-enclosed construction. This design offers a traditional look with the benefits of modern guitar locking tuners.

Made in Japan, Gotoh locking tuners feature clean machining and a chrome finish suited to customization, restoration and instrument-building projects. They are designed for 8.8 mm mounting holes and feature staggered posts to optimize string break angles.

The kit includes 90° and 180° mounting screws as well as the press-fit bushings required for installation.
