Electric XII-Style 12-String Guitar Control Plate – 2 mm Acrylic
Replace or customize the control plate on an Electric XII-style 12-string guitar with this 2 mm acrylic (PMMA) reproduction. Inspired by the original metal plate, this acrylic alternative is suitable for restoration, repair or customization. Available in black, white, cream and clear to suit your preferred appearance.
Inspired by the original control plate
The plate follows the general shape of the control plate used on Fender Electric XII guitars and features:
- Three openings for electronic controls.
- Three countersunk mounting holes to accommodate screw heads.
- A distinctive elongated outline with one rounded end.
- Straight edges without a perimeter bevel.
2 mm single-ply acrylic construction
Unlike the original metal plate, this reproduction is made from a single 2 mm thick sheet of acrylic (PMMA). Laser cutting provides consistent outlines and precise openings. Its one-ply construction gives a uniform finish, without stacked layers or a contrasting edge stripe.
Four colors
- Black: understated and classic.
- White: a bright appearance.
- Cream: an ivory shade for a vintage style.
- Clear: allows the guitar's finish to show through the plate.
