Guitar Strap Locks – Black, Chrome or Gold

Guitar strap locks are designed to secure the strap attachment effectively and reduce the risk of the instrument falling. These strap fasteners offer a simple, functional way to improve the safety of an electric or acoustic guitar without spending a large amount. The guitar strap locks offered here are deliberately positioned to provide good value for money.

These guitar strap locks are especially suitable for entry-level and lower mid-range instruments. They are not intended for high-end guitars or collectors' instruments. Their design prioritizes practicality and effectiveness rather than competing with more expensive premium systems. Nevertheless, these secure guitar strap fasteners represent a genuine improvement over standard strap buttons.

When replacing the original strap fasteners, we strongly recommend keeping the guitar's original screws. This precaution helps prevent wear or damage to the existing threads in the wood. Damaged threads would reduce the effectiveness of any secure guitar strap fastener, regardless of the model used. This recommendation applies to all strap-lock systems on the market. Put simply, if a replacement screw's thread does not match the original, it will not hold properly. This applies to all replacement parts.

These guitar strap locks do not include a felt washer or rubber gasket between the metal part and the guitar. The metal therefore comes into direct contact with the instrument body. Ideally, keep the existing protective washer and adapt it to the new secure guitar strap fasteners. This reflects their workshop-oriented, practical purpose: they do not include the dedicated protective finish found on some premium accessories.

Available in black, chrome and gold, these guitar strap locks can be matched to your guitar's existing hardware. They are an economical option for making an instrument more secure and functional, rather than a premium or primarily cosmetic upgrade.
