Square Wooden Guitar Jack Plate

The square wooden jack plate is a handcrafted accessory designed for electric guitars. Each piece is made in our workshop from genuine tonewoods. We use maple, rosewood and ebony in particular, depending on current availability.

The cutting process for the square wooden jack plate depends on the material. Maple and rosewood are cut with a CO₂ laser, providing fine precision without damaging the wood's natural grain. Ebony, which is much denser, is CNC-machined to obtain a consistent, clean finish. Each method is carefully chosen to suit the properties of the wood.

The dimensions are standardized for straightforward use. The plate measures 34 × 34 mm and is 2 mm thick, making it suitable for guitars with a flat mounting surface. Pieces are supplied unfinished after machining, roughly sanded with 100-grit abrasive. No varnish is applied, leaving you free to customize the finish. You can oil, wax or patinate the surface as you wish. This makes it easy to add a natural touch to your guitar.
