Electric Guitar Cavity Shielding Kit

The guitar shielding kit makes it easy to shield the electronic cavities of an electric guitar. It brings together the essential items for applying conductive paint and reducing unwanted interference.

This guitar shielding kit contains a 50 ml bottle of conductive paint repackaged in our workshop. A stainless-steel mixing ball is included to help mix the paint before use, even after a period in storage.

The kit also includes a flat brush for precise application inside electronic cavities. Its size is suitable for potentiometer compartments, selector-switch cavities and pickup routs.

A piece of P600 abrasive paper is supplied to prepare the surfaces before applying the paint. This step helps improve adhesion on certain finishes or varnished surfaces.

The included 0.8 mm-diameter tinned grounding wire makes it easier to connect the shielding to the instrument's electronic circuit. Its length is suitable for most electric guitar configurations.

The guitar shielding kit is suitable for instrument repair, customisation and building projects. It can be used on Stratocaster-, Telecaster-, Les Paul- and SG-style models, among others.

Conductive guitar paint creates a conductive layer inside the electronic cavities. This protection helps reduce electromagnetic interference that may affect the pickup signal.

Each kit is prepared and packaged in our workshop. The 50 ml format provides enough paint for several applications, depending on the size of the cavities to be treated.
