Why use 10 mm MDF templates?
MDF provides a uniform surface and good stability when preparing guitar-building parts.
Its 10 mm thickness makes it easy to handle and provides a suitable bearing surface for many marking-out or routing operations using a router fitted with a bearing-guided bit.
These templates can be used for a personal project, to prepare wooden parts or to develop your own semi-hollow electric guitar design.
Important: inspired shapes, not exact copies of original models
These templates are freely inspired by the shapes of ES-335-style guitars.
They are not exact reproductions of the original models. Outlines, dimensions, cavities and component positions may differ from instruments sold by the manufacturers.
They are intended for handcrafted construction and the creation of custom guitars.
Before any final machining, we recommend checking dimensions, component positioning and compatibility with the parts planned for your project.
